​Dawo  (Kham) Sichuan province

​The first Tadra orphanage was built in Dawo (Kham) in 1997. It serves whole of Southeast Tibet. Greater population is made up of nomads with harsh living conditions and with high illiteracy rate and poor access to health care and basic needs.
